I have a table with data in it, and Im trying to add another column to it. Im executing -> ALTER TABLE search_content ADD COLUMN faq_id VARCHAR(33); then alter table search_content alter column faq_id set default '' not null; Im getting an error -> ERROR: parser: parse error at or near "null" If I take out not null, the sql works but I need the column to be "not null" What am I doing wrong???
