We have a postgresql 8.3.8 DB which consumes 100% of the CPU whenever we run any query. Postgresql Memory parameters: shared_buffers = 1GB work_mem = 128MB maintenance_work_mem = 64MB I have attached the o/p of vmstat command alsp.
