We’re in search of a seasoned Senior Database Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience mastering database management systems, SQL, and data modeling principles. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing robust database systems.
**Must-have Skills:**
- Proficiency in reading and writing code, particularly within the Python/Django framework.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities with databases.
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with text indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with search engine technologies like Elasticsearch.
- Ability to work autonomously, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in CI/CD blue/green deployments using Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform.
**Desirable Skills:**
- Competence in managing AWS RDS PostgreSQL clusters.
- Experience with AWS services like IAM, EC2, S3, and CLI.
- Deep understanding of Django ORM.
