Job summary
We need a PG development expert!
You will join a team who is working on new algorithms for enhancing databases. The team is developing an extension for PostgreSQL which implements some algorithms that dramatically reduce the computation times for complex queries. In a very interesting and motivating scientific environment, you will be our reference developer on everything related to PostgreSQL’s compatibility or specific development.
Responsibilities
Your responsibility includes to perform the following tasks to the highest standard, and is not limited to:
* Share your expertise on PostgreSQL internals with the technical team;
* Take in charge some tasks of development;
* Propose solutions for technical problems according to the PostgreSQL capabilities;
* Take care of our relations with the PostgreSQL developers community :).
Skills needed
* Good experience in the development of PostgreSQL core or extensions;
* C, Linux, git, Docker (C++ could be great also);
* Passion for software development;
* Good spoken and written English.
Education
Degree in IT or Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Employment Type
Full time, permanent
Joining Date
As soon as possible in Paris (France) or Dubai (United Arab Emirates), but from August, all the technical team will be located in Dubai.
