Duties include, but are not limited to supporting our databases and data in a distributed multi-application environment. Requirements Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 /
2012 / 2014 engine, SSRS, SSAS or similar relational database system: security; backup and recovery capabilities; system and database performance management; data architecture and capacity planning; disaster recovery planning and testing required Ability to
move data around (one or more of: SSIS, xcopy, PowerShell or similar). Strong performance tuning skills and techniques. Experience turning a business requirements into appropriate physical and logical data architecture and supporting processes. Deep familiarity
with Postgresql. Experience with databases like SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB a plus. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Bachelor's degree preferably in a technology field required ; equivalent experience may be considered. My client is in the Investment/Financial vertical and has not provided an approximate rate.
