What You Need:
- Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Ability to ensure system scalability, security, performance and reliability
- Experience with setting up and maintaining replication, backups, and recovery processes
- Ability to work with a team in the hands-on development of database solutions, including the need to understand business, technology, and architecture requirements
- Knowledge of modeling tools to document database designs
- Experience maintaining production databases, including patch and release management, analyzing system performance; identifying problems and implementing solutions; reviewing and tuning complex SQL statements
- Python knowledge a Plus
