Dear Applicant,

What I have is an offer for a partnership in a new start-up.  Specifically what we will be offering our clients is investment in the stock, options and futures markets using statistical research (5 years of data).

The four positions are:
1> A person who knows Postgres as an expert and either knows or will learn Elastisearch.  That is the person that I'm looking for.
2> An expert in branding and marketing.  I have a person in mind who has done this kind of work before.
3> An expert trader.  Someone who has traded in all markets with a good record that they'd like to make significantly better.
4> An expert in R who knows trading well enough that they can act as a business partner to both you and (eventually) the team led by you.  This is me.

Proposal one (with partnership):
I am in the process of writing the business plan and have no problems sharing it with you.  I have some plans that I've shared with the branding person about how to raise our initial R&D capital by leveraging a KickStarter campaign best thing is that you capture their email addresses.  My goal is to put together this business without angel investors thus keeping control (and of course money) within the 4 partners. Once a week (either Monday or Friday) you would need to attend progress meetings, other than that I don't mind if you work remotely as long as you get the job done.  My plans are for us to be located in an older building (has style and architected by Sullivan) downtown.

Proposal two (with credit on the paper):
I also intend to write an article for publication in the ACM journal on OLAP vs OLTP database design.  Since I want to make this as real as possible I will be using Postgres in order to show how this can be implemented.  I have just reserved a site and started to populate it (DSBIntelligence.com/OLAP but don't go out there yet as it's still a work in progress).  I intend on the article being both in the ACM journal snd on the site along with code and a small sample database so that the arguments are easier to follow.

Please contact me if you are interested in either proposal.  Email response is best although you can also get me at my Skype address which you can tell since it has a man smoking a pipe done in pasta.
