Overview: The successful applicant will develop, implement, and support the firm's technology agenda by designing, developing and integrating new information technology systems, coordinating
and providing training, negotiating and managing information technology related contracts, and providing technology assistance and support. As member of the team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and
performance of critical systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the corporate applications. This is a -hands-on- position requiring solid technical skills, along with troubleshooting and communications skills.
Required Skills * 4 year degree strongly preferred, at least some college required * 3 + years of experience as Postgres Database Administrator * Knowledge of Postgres 9.x * Knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL Commands Experience with the following: * Installation
and setup * Creation and configuration of database * Setup client authentication * Database monitoring * Backup and restore of database * Setup of standby server and replication * Troubleshooting and Tuning Postgres * Linux shell scripting
