URBAN4M is growing and we are looking to add to our diverse team and set of skills. We have several positions open - db developer being one of them. The main responsibilities include advanced data mining and database design for structured/licensed data and unstructured spatial and temporal data.
An ideal candidate for the position can think beyond the immediate task at hand and be part of the overall development of services and company growth.
The individual will be hired for a full-time position for maintaining and improving a sophisticated and innovative spatial database - requires wearing multiple development and related hats.
Skills & Requirements
Databases: PostgreSQL (with solid schema-design experience), ElasticSearch implementation experience a plus
Languages: Go (or C, C++, or Java with a strong will/desire to learn Go)
Knowledge of: RESTful services, Amazon Web Services/DevOps, GIS, Agile environments
Preferred Education: Bachelor - Computer Science or better
