A client of ours in West Austin is looking for a Senior Database Administrator. This is a full time position.
Opportunities:
• Work with extremely large datasets
• Gain experience with big data technologies (MongoDB, Greenplum and Vertica)
• Learn from and work with a high level team
You:
• Experience with open source databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience scripting in a Linux/Unix environment (Bash or Python)
• High level SQL skills
• Experience with Tables that have millions of records
Would be nice if you have:
• Experience with Vertica, Greenplum, Redshift or Hadoop
• Programming experience in C# or Java
