Currently seeking a PERL
Developer to join our team; problem-solvers and thinkers are
required.
The developer will help write, test and implement PERL code against a PostgreSQL backend which targets application users. He or she will also be tasked to write or contribute to new and ongoing PERL coding efforts.
The role also includes managing PostgreSQL database backups and supporting database and query performance. The developer will also make data recommendations, based on empirical and gathered trend analysis of the growing DBMS platform.
In this position the developer will code and perform the local DBA role in support of our colocation-based, high availability, 24x7, on-call operation.
Requirements:
4+ years PERL experience
2+ years of PostgreSQL experience
4+ years Unix/Linux experience
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
