The Senior Database Administrator & Developer is a member of a team collaborating on the backend design and implementation of Sony online services including traditional OLAP as well as big-data solutions. This role requires the blending
of administrating and development activities with both SQL and No-SQL based systems. A willingness to experiment with new database technologies is a must. The candidate will work with other team members in maintenance of development and production systems,
development of data models and implementation of those models in everything from application databases to production data warehouses.
Candidate needs to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a team player, interoperating with multiple teams across global time zones. The candidate may be on call 24/7 during scheduled periods to support escalated
