PostgreSQL Database Administrator (f/m)

Your Tasks:
- You are responsible for continuously optimizing the performance of our PostgreSQL-cluster.
- You ensure the smooth operations of kaufDA.de and additional products.
- You are part of the operations team implementing projects and supporting the development teams.
- You are working with the following systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Puppet, Apache httpd, Tomcat, Squid-Cache, Icinga, Graylog2, KVM+Ganeti, Debian, RHEL, Akamai CDN, Amazon Web Services
- You are working closely and collocated with the development teams.

Your Profile:
- You are very experienced in DB query analysis and optimization with PostgreSQL.
- You have a minimum of 2 years working experience in the area of systems administration with Linux systems.
- You have a deep understanding of Linux and feel at home working with a shell.
- You have already worked with configuration management, Java webservers and relational databases.
- You have or plan to gain good knowledge of MongoDB.
- You enjoy working in a Scrum environment.
- You operate independently, responsibly, accurately and reliably.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
- You are a real team player.
- You want to work with Puppet.
