Requirements • 4+ Years of experience as DBA • SQL Server 2008 database administration tasks • Transact SQL (TSQL) • Command level experience with SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 • SQL Server HA (high availability) using mirroring/clustering. • SQL Server Replication • New database installations • Database performance tuning • Database backups and recovery • Database monitoring • Server and database security • Index management and optimization • Experience with Query Analyzer • Experience in developing functions and stored procedures. • Capable of multi-tasking and ability to manage projects • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Experience in the social networking, dating, or other subscription-based business is a plus.
