$120 an hour as 1099 or $150 SALARY

Question for the mailing list members: Is $150/hr a typical "market rate" for a full-time permanent position? That is approximately $300,000/yr. Am I missing something or does that not seem like an unsustainable burn rate.

What seems rather odd to me is to have a salary number higher than the 1099 number since the latter comes without any benefits. Usually I'd expect it the other way around. Maybe they meant $150k/year salary.
