Job Title: PostgreSQL DBA; Position Type; Full-time regular employee with full benefits; Job Description: Provide DBA support for Production and QA PosrgreSQL database. Maintain database systems for performance and reliability Build and maintain necessary scripts for maintenance and monitoring Maintain replication and backups Coordinate with software teams to follow best practices for data modeling and schema design. Coordinate with systems and network operations teams to for maintenance and reliability of database systems. Qualification: Minimum of 2 years experience with PostgreSQL in a production environment Strong knowledge of database concepts and fundamentals Knowledge and practical skills in hardware and system administration concepts in a Linux environment. Independent problem solving skills and proactive maintenance ethic. Recent experience with replication, backup, and high availability. Must have 4+ years of enterprise database administration experience or equivalent network or programming experience. MySQL DB experience is also a plus. Computer Science Degree preferred.
