Hi All, Few questions - Related to my previous thread about Oracle to Postgres migrations. 1. In the customer cloud environment we don’t have any other access in CLI(Command Line) apart from
psql, is this sufficient for migration from Oracle to Postgres? **pgadmin4 will be there along with
psql. 2. The source(Oracle) is external to cloud environment and not in the same namespace. Oracle servers are hosted in on premise DC machines/VM's. 3. The Postgres is provisioned automatically based on Postgres Docker image and It does not include “EDB migration toolkit” which is trail/free version. **If we change the Docker image and include migration toolkit as part of in Stack Builder ? Hello All, We have a requirement to migrate from Oracle(Multiple versions) – 11gR1,11gR2,12c to PostgresSQL 10 to private cloud of customer in context to that – 1.
Please let me know the best practices for migrations- any documents ,links etc. 2.
Open source tools for migration. 3.
OS and kernel parameters as per PostgresSQL standards for DB instances. 4.
Design and planning for PostgresSQL configurations. 5.
