Hi,
I am currently running a stand alone PostgreSQL v8.4.14 on a Linux CentOS server and need to perform an upgrade. Can I upgrade to the latest PostgreSQL v9.3.5 or do I need to perform an intermediate upgrade?
Current:psql (PostgreSQL) 8.4.14
java version "1.6.0_37"Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_37-b06)Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.12-b01, mixed mode)
Linux 2.6.18-371.4.1.el5 x86_64
Apply database minor versions from PostgreSQL 8.4.14 to 8.4.22 and then up-grade database version from PostgreSQL 8.4.22 to PostgreSQL 9.3.5.
Thanks & Regards
