Doesn't say anything about how to go about a dump/restore style upgrade...maybe rebuild the schema in 9.3 manually (more-or-less) then do a data-only dump/restore? Seems you, in theory, should be able to drop the database and extension from 9.2 then re-do the upgrade without them. Good Luck...
