Hi all,
I've done a ton of searching for a solution to this several times
before, but never found anything that could help.
I need to take a look at what is inside a WAL file, perhaps not exactly
everything in it, even a summary would be nice (such as how many
transactions or types of activity).
I've looked at xlogviewer and xlogdump, but it seems those projects have
been abandoned since later 2006. The latest version they report support
for is 8.2.
Are there any tools out there that would work with WAL files from a 8.4
cluster on a 64 bit machine?
Thanks in advance,
Brian F
