Hi All I have been trying to install PostgreSQL-8.4 on Windows 2000
server and keep getting the following creating template1 database in
C:/PROGRA~1/CISCOS~1/CSCONccm/objects/PostgreSQL/8.4/data/base/1 ... initdb:
could not execute command
""C:/PROGRA~1/CISCOS~1/CSCONccm/objects/PostgreSQL/8.4/bin/postgres.exe"
--boot -x1 -F ": No error initdb:
removing contents of data directory
"C:/PROGRA~1/CISCOS~1/CSCONccm/objects/PostgreSQL/8.4/data" I have checked the archives but did not see any solution so
far. The data directory does have inheritable permissions for
user postgres to read, write, modify etc. Thanks Pankaj |
