pg_resetxlog: command not found

I do not succeed with pg_resetxlog

root@myservercrashedonCOPY :/usr/lib/postgresql/8.4/bin# pg_resetxlog -f /var/lib/postgresql/8.4/main
-bash: pg_resetxlog: command not found

The O.S on the server is Ubuntu Hardy.

I am not sure if I get it right..

Is there an How-to for this available somewhere, or someone has experienced this issue, please ?
