Hi,
I am using an ubuntu 8.10 installation (from
linode). I installed postgres and it was working fine. Then it shutdown
and would not start again. When I tried to start it again I got a perl
error saying that the locales where not set correctly. I fixed that and
then it said that no postgres client was installed so I installed psql.
Now when I execute /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.3 start I get no output to
the logs or the console, it just returns. I will post the last sever
lines of the log below. Does anybody know what problem this is and why
I started to have it? Thanks,
