This means your system uses traditional UNIX  authentications

You will not see the passwd of any user they are encrypted

/etc/passwd check this file you will find all existing user names and their account settings
/etc/shadow check  this file, contains encrypted password as well as other information such as account or password expiration values

I want to know where the old passwd of normal account passwords stored,I find the /etc/security/opasswd file is null.
