Tracking down limit issues

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey,

It seems since we have started using Centos5/REHL5 we have encountered a number of occasions where we have had to change the default limits under /etc/security/limits.conf.

The same application worked fine on Centos4/REHL4 with out any modifications.

Anyways the question I have is, what is the best way to determine if the app is failing due to a limit restriction ? There does not seem to be able log entries indicating so.
