I'm trying to use pam_access.so on different Redhat servers (7.2, 7.3, 8.0, AS2.1). When I add the line 'auth required /lib/security/pam_access.so' to /etc/pam.d/sshd it starts refusing any logins and generates error messages in the logs saying 'PAM unable to resolve symbol: pam_sm_authenticate' and 'PAM unable to resolve symbol: pam_sm_setcred'. I've verified that the .so exists and the report from 'ldd' on it seems to be clean.
