Pam users, I'm trying to configure the mcal driver, mstore to use pam so I can authenticate via the shadow file on my linux server. Mstore is complied with pam support which appears to be work. Under /etc/pam.d I have a file called mstore which includes auth required pam_unix_auth.so The error message I receieve in syslog is: mstore(pam_unix)[26858]: auth could not identify password for [USER] In the debug error log I have: mstore(pam_unix)[26858]: conversation failure [Conversation error] mstore(pam_unix)[26858]: unable to obtain a password If I add the pam_warn.so plugin to the mstore service file I get his in messages: PAM-warn[26515]: function=[pam_sm_authenticate] service=[mstore] terminal=[mstore] user=[USER] ruser=[<unknown>] rhost=[localhost] PAM-warn[26515]: function=[pam_sm_setcred] service=[mstore] terminal=[mstore] user=[USER] ruser=[<unknown>] rhost=[localhost] In searching the web and newsgroup I don't see any material that might lead me to an answer.
