Have you made sure that apache can read the shadow file? And you have
mod_python installed? When I installed on rh7.3 that's what was wrong

I am using redhat 7.2 with apache 1.3.27 and I installed mod_auth_pam
1.1.1 and when I try to authenticate I get this error in my
/var/log/messages

Dec 15 02:40:42 ns1 httpd(pam_unix)[8238]: authentication failure;
logname= uid=99 euid=99 tty= ruser= rhost=  user=admin

I am stuck

Thanks

Nick
