NT authentication with Tomcat

Hi guys,

I am running Apache/Tomcat on a Linux box in a NT domain. Authentication with Apache works fine using mod_pam and all the rest. I used the directive <Directory> for mapping the web application using AuthEnabled On , but whenever a jsp page is recognized apache forward the request to tomcat wich doesn't care about the authentication and serve the page to everyone. The method getRemoteUser() display null as well as the getAuthType().
So the point is : does anyone have a clue about this ?
My configuration is :
Red Hat Linux 7.1 Apache 2.0.39 Tomcat 4.0.1 and the module for redirecting .jsp is mod_jk.so
The domain is a NT 4.0 but we will probably move sooner to W 2K so if there are some changement to made please let me know.

thanks in advance for your help
Leonardo
