Hi, I'd like your advice on setting up limits on a plain RH7.1 system, possibly using pam. Here's what I've got in my limits.conf: tytus hard stack 700000 tytus hard rss 250000 tytus hard priority 10 And it seems to have no effect :(. That users always logs in using ssh. His jobs are set up using NQS ( a kind of networking queuing system ). It is GenericNQS 3.36 persuaded to use ssh instead of rlogin. All entries in pam.d are standard.
