Just a guess, but many modules log debug information with a priority of debug, which we at least don't configure syslog to log. Try adding "*.debug /var/log/debug" to /etc/syslog.conf and restarting syslog, which should start logging debugging messages to /var/log/debug. HTH, Nalin
