Hi Andreas.

I have no idea what your application is but generally speaking it is not
that much effort making an application pam aware. (The effort is required
when trying rigidly defined protocol servers pam aware for challenge
response operation).

Basically you have to write a converstation function and register named
function with pam. Tell pam when to start and stop and ensure that your
application understands and responds correctly to the answers and youre home
dry.
