That's a great question! Mailing from the blog isn't a manual process, so the automated process is cutting it when sending posts to this list. I don't see any reason not to put the entire blog post into the email, though.
(Ok, one reason is that the blog can be edited and it's probably not a good idea to send out every typo fix. It's not a big reason though. People can always visit the URL if they want the very latest copy of the post. ;-)
I'll ask around and see if this is something we can change.
P.S.: that OpenSSL really implemented QUIC as such directly is
really cool, especially for the occasional OpenSSL-based
programmer. In the future likely even more than today.

P.P.S.: this email generating script is really bad. It should
place Reply-To: and/or Mail-Followup-To:, then one would not have
to remove this noreply@xxxxxxxxxxx manually. (In most normal
MUAs.) (Ie, why let people send data that ends in /dev/null?)
