OpenSSL crypto PMD in DPDK

Hi All,

DPDK supports OpenSSL crypto poll mode driver.

As per my undersanding, OpenSSLcrypto PMD provides wrapper API's, for example, it provides API for RSA sign which internally deals with EVP API's. 

Can someone help to understand the benefit of using/integrating the API's in OpenSSL crypto poll mode driver instead of directly invoking the EVP API's?
