I'm currently using a pre-release version of openssl 1.1.1 and want to upgrade to a release version.
With the release of openssl 3.0 (and now 3.0.1) while 1.1.1 is still ongoing development, do you recommed using one version over the other?
Is there an advantage to use one or the other or just a matter of choice?
What is the plan for 1.1.1 after the end of LTS period?
Are we going to have a 3.1 release soon?
