Many packets slow down the server

Hi,

I have written a "simple" openssl server and a client. I just do SSL_write and SSL_read to send binary data from the client to the server.

This seems to work well. I get no read or write error during the
transfer. All bytes sent are received.

But the file is quite large about 2.000.000 bytes (It is a wav file).

After about 1000 packets the transfer begins to go _realy_ slow.

Sometimes it comes to a halt.

I have tried all kind of buffersize, but the symtoms are about the same.

Any ideas?
