Adding "-cru" to arflags for AIX in Configuratinos/10-main.conf solves
the problem.

slightly off topic .. sorry.
Looks like you are on a few risc platforms whereas I am still hacking
away on sparc. When I say "sparc" I really mean a Fujitsu SPARCVII+
type unit and not a classic Sun sparcv9 unit. I will get to those
afterwards.
