All;
     I've upgraded OpenSSH/SSHD on CentOS 6 to version 7.5 without a problem.
However, when I try to upgrade it on CentOS 7, I'm having problems. When I
try to start SSHD on a CentOS 7 server using "systemctl start sshd", I never
get back to the prompt. It just seems to hang there. However, when I ctrl-c
out of it and check, SSHD is running. This happens if I try to start the
service manually or automatically on boot. Has anyone seen this before? Any
insight at all would be greatly appreciated.

This is a problem of systemd, that it does not know how to track the running services:

Unfortunately not yet part of OpenSSH.
