typo in sshd.8 SSH_KNOWN_HOSTS FILE FORMAT section?

I was confused today reading in sshd.8, section SSH_KNOWN_HOSTS FILE
FORMAT, "whenever the user connects from an unknown host, its key is
added to the per-user file." That should read, "to an unknown host,"
shouldn't it? Looking back there was a patch sent to this list a couple
years ago by someone who thought the same:
https://marc.info/?l=openssh-unix-dev&m=137238159508849&w=2
It looks to still be this way as of revision 1.287:
http://cvsweb.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/usr.bin/ssh/sshd.8?rev=1.287&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup
