hi OpenSSH folks-- cloning via https appears to take a very long time: 0 dkg@alice:/tmp/cdtemp.SrJtFK$ git clone https://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git Cloning into 'openssh'... (this hangs for several minutes, i haven't seen it complete yet) From an already-checked-out (but not recently-updated) version, i see: 0 dkg@alice:~/src/openssh/openssh$ git remote update Fetching origin error: Unable to find 3185462905589d5db237d97ac5bc2f131844da64 under https://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git Cannot obtain needed blob 3185462905589d5db237d97ac5bc2f131844da64 while processing commit 0882332616e4f0272c31cc47bf2018f9cb258a4e. error: fetch failed. error: Could not fetch origin 1 dkg@alice:~/src/openssh/openssh$ So i think something is wrong with the git https backend on anongit.mindrot.org. Let me know if i can provide more useful debugging information. Regards, --dkg
