OSX - SSH agent functionality differing based upon CLI arguments

LOL. Maybe. 

What I?m trying to express (through the void of the interwebs)...

Regardless of which way SSH is executed, the command runs on the remote host (success)

Each of the examples I?ve given work. 

That is to say, they execute the given command on the remote server. 

No problem there, none whatsoever (success)

What is a problem:

Expressing the arguments one way, SSH Agent Forwarding works.

AND

Expressed the arguments the other way, SSH Agent Forwarding fails.
