I'd start by looking at what something like gnome-online-accounts does
to handle Facebook/Twitter/etc authentication. That's bringing up some
kind of webview window.

The OpenConnect side should be fairly simple ? just invoke a callback
provided by the GUI, falling back to the existing HTML-scraping code if
the callback wasn't provided.
