Those are configured by the server but we do have the --force-dpd option
so you can set them anyway even if the server doesn't set them (low
enough).

But a few *seconds* without traffic shouldn't lead to a disconnection.
It sounds like you're behind an extremely broken firewall or NAT box.
You should really look into fixing *that* first.
