Use NetworkManager. That'll store every form entry rather than having
dirty hacked-up special cases for "username" and "password".

Although the dirty hacked-up special case probably ought to work. Can
you show me the actual XML form that the server gives you, or preferably
just the IP address of the server so I can see for myself, and I'll
check why it doesn't.
