IPA is to interpolate an input in a fragment shader. Have a look at
OP_LINTERP / OP_PINTERP in codegen
(https://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/tree/src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/codegen/).
Also feel free to ask specific questions in #nouveau on
irc.freenode.net.
