(sorry if you got this twice - didn't appear in the archive) I'm having authentication problems with nntpcache 3.01 (compiled by me) & PAM on Redhat 7.0. nntpcache.access just has this line: * * read,post,quick,auth=user/pass;pam /etc/pam.conf looks like this: nntpcache auth required pam_unix_auth.so nntpcache account required pam_unix_acct.so syslog has these errors: Apr 30 18:27:33 x PAM_unix[21639]: authentication failure; fred(uid=102) -> fred for nntpcache service Apr 30 18:27:36 x nntpcache: unknown@mycomputer.toots.co.uk []: AUTHINFO pass thisismypassword[21639]: Unsuccessful AUTHINFO PASS for fred Any ideas? What I'd *really* like is an apache user style access file.
