Hi folks, is this list alive ? If so, can someone please comment on a problem I encountered with nntpcache-0.88.3UL beta 2 on Linux 2.0 & Solaris 2.5 using Netscape (2.02 & 3.0b4) as a news reader: On startup, Netscape scans all groups for the number of unread messages. This works fine until the scan reaches the nntpcache.stats group. Then it (Netscape, not nntpcached) crashes with a segmentation fault, leaving the following entries logged by nntpcache: Jul 5 14:09:34 deepthought /home/storm/WORK/nntpcache-0.88.3UL/nntpcached[8340]: nntpcache.c:654: <- GROUP aanntpcache.stats Jul 5 14:09:34 deepthought /home/storm/WORK/nntpcache-0.88.3UL/nntpcached[8340]: nntpcache.c:649:Illegal seek: client disconnected before QUIT xrn works fine, btw. Any idea ?
