BSDI 3.0 & MMAP

Hello,

We have been trying to install (in order to evaluate) nntpcache
V1.0.7.1 on a BSDI 3.0 machine, but it keeps exiting immediately
with a mmap Memory corrupt error. After digging in this problem we
found that mmap_tests gives one extra line from the listed BSDI2.1
defines, but after removing this HAVE_MMAP_FILE_SHARED_WRITE from
mmap_results.h we kept 'nntpcached[27993]: nntpcache.c:509: Memory
corrupt' errors. This is on a BSDI BSD/OS 3.0 when we tried with
an incoming telnet on port 119. Installing the same configuration
on a FreeBSD machine results that nntpcache works just fine (btw,
why isn't the 'help' command put through to the default server?).

Anyone any ideas ?

regards,
   Hans
