nntpcache-1.0.7.1 seems to have problems with groups that get rmgroup'ed from a server. Here is what it looks like in the log... nntpcached[13166]: pc.aaron connect from ... nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:366: <- MODE READER nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:366: <- GROUP group.you.just rmgrouped nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:366: <- XOVER 29280-29284 nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:76: connected to NNTP server news... as DEFAULT nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:80: server news... dropped during initial connect phase nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:172:Bad file number: fd too high or low (-1 vs 266) nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:366: <- XOVER 29277-29278 nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:76: connected to NNTP server news... as DEFAULT nntpcached[13166]: sockets.c:80: server news... dropped during initial connect phase Any clues? It's hard for me to test this, if anyone else could try (just rmgroup a newsgroup and reconnect to it) I'd be obliged. -- Aaron Nabil nabil@teleport.com
