Hello, I'm running nntpcache-1.0.1 on a Linux machine with kernel version 2.0.29. It works fine except some situations where the newsreader (trn) stops in the middle of displaying an article. After 5 minutes or so I usually loose my patience and type "killall -QUIT trn". The syslog on the Linux machine reads Mar 21 14:01:36 telefix /usr/local/sbin/nntpcached[31282]: nntpcache.c:989:Illegal seek: client disconnected before QUIT or Mar 20 17:16:12 telefix /usr/local/sbin/nntpcached[28466]: nntpcache.c:180:Illegal seek: client disconnected before QUIT ACK I tried to upgrade to 1.0.5 but ran into the same compilation problems someone else reported lately. I managed to work around them but the resulting executable shows the same behaviour as above *plus* it dumps core on each of the mentioned occasions. I hope this isn't a FAQ. I looked through the archives last week and I've been lurking on the list since then but since nobody else reported my problem I decided to give it a try.
